Día de los Muertos (DDLM) is a time to welcome the spirits of those who have passed back to Earth. We honored that tradition by letting one of the most beloved Mexican artists of all time live again.​ 

During his life, José Guadalupe Posada is credited with creating many famed DDLM illustrations and iconography. We partnered with the Posada Art Foundation and used original Posada works to build and train a custom A.I. engine to think and create just like Posada.

This wasn’t an idea that was made better by the incorporation of A.I., but an idea that couldn’t exist without it. We used it to create the first new Posada art since his death over 100 years ago — art that we put on limited-edition packaging and used to develop retail point of sale as well as social and digital extensions. We engaged The Posada Art Foundation to ensure our designs felt true of the artist himself. 

On pack, a QR code told consumers the story of the art, and led to a social filter that let consumers share a toast with Posada’s new skeleton figures.​

In order to capture the small percentage of people in the market for tires at any given moment, we showcased our partnership with Indycar to establish brand trust on a professional level.

We leveraged the story of Indycar legend Mario Andretti’s famous 1969 Indy 500 win where he was forced to go the entire distance on the same right rear Firestone tire.

By positioning Firestone as the tire trusted by past and present Indycar legends on and off the track, we were able to elevate the brand’s status and drive sales with a full funnel marketing campaign.

For Modelo’s first year investing in College hoops, we aimed to make a splash while extending their Full-Time Fans platform already being leveraged in college football. We encouraged consumers to give into the madness because during the tournament, even casual fans turns into active and rabid Full-Time Fans.

We developed a two pronged approach for winning during the tournament action and establishing Modelo as a basketball brand long after.

For retail, we partnered with the largest name in fantasy sports in DraftKings. Together we created a branded game that allowed us to tap into the live action without any official March Madness marks. We drove consumers to the activation within the DraftKings app, at point of sale, and through digital and social amplification.

Because Full-Time Fans are tuned into every second of the action, we rewarded every bucket. Each basket scored added money to final prize pot so consumers could enter to win daily cash prizes and climb the leaderboard for the ultimate payout.

Beyond retail, we collaborated with SLAM, a brand that owns the culture of hoops. Together we created limited edition merch, did localized drops for each of our partner teams and activated an experiential watch party for the Final Four. All in throughout the tournament this partnership delivered 20.5 million impressions and 6.25 million video views across SLAM’s massive social following.

On the heels of the pandemic, Americans were spending more on summer activities than ever – with a projected 91% spending increase vs. pre-pandemic levels. Corona wanted to tap into and fuel that pent up demand for the pursuit of summer activity.

As a brand, we’ve always understood what’s great about summertime — music, a day at the ballpark and obviously the beach. So we put the ticket to summer in the palm of every consumers hands. The brand rolled out QR codes on every product and we invited Corona drinkers to scan POS or their beer and see if they’ve won.

We opened the virtual Corona Will Call booth, with Snoop Dogg manning the window. Consumers could show up every day and see if Snoop had any tickets with their name on them. All summer long we gave away instant-win festival wrist bands, travel vouchers and MLB tickets.

Millions of people in small towns don’t get what they need from the big internet providers and lack access to reliable home internet. Most weren’t aware of the viable high-speed option from U.S. Cellular built to reach the places the big guys weren’t taking care of. We wanted to drive awareness by rebranding and reintroducing our offering as the Fast & Fair local option because where you live shouldn’t dictate the quality of your internet.

Restrained to a tight budget, we were able to create online video, digital OOH and imedia assets using dynamic overlays to serve up localized custom assets to over 1200 different cities and towns, speaking directly to those underserved markets.

Additionally as part of the relaunch we redesigned their website and created paid social posts and banner ads.

A game long notorious for its exclusive, conservative roots has undergone a transformation in recent years. As the lightest and most refreshing Corona offering, Corona Premier, wanted to tap into the refreshed energy of golf being driven by new experiences, fresh apparel brands and a surge in popularity.

We leveraged Corona Premier’s partnership with the U.S. Open Championship by offering a way for consumers to win tickets regardless of where or how they like to enjoy the game.

Whether on the course, at mini golf, on a bar-cade or really anywhere you can sink a putt… we want to see them go in. Consumers could send in a long putt video on social and every putt drained might be the one that sends them to the U.S. Open. We extended the activation at events and on-premise. And we also created secondary merch prizing with partners that share our same fresh approach to the game.

We needed to find a way to make laundry relevant to the Target shopper and get her to consider Target for her laundry needs in addition to her lifestyle purchases. We leaned into the obvious reality that activewear unavoidably takes on the odors of being active.

Partnering with the C9 activewear line we found a way to get our sport focused products beyond the laundry aisle and make them feel essential to keeping her activewear fresh. We activated this with out-of-aisle display, contextual imedia, and co-branded email blasts.

When it comes to laundry, most people just think soap is soap or they default to whatever mom used. So driving impact for retail relies on really zeroing in on the single most important thing (SMIT) about the product benefit, and bringing it to life in an unexpected way. Here are a few of my favorite examples from my time on P&G.

The brand visualizations we developed were carried across multiple touch points such as retail POS, eComm and TV end cards.

Throughout my career the blue chip brands and projects I’ve worked on have allowed me the luxury of shooting some pretty awesome folks with some amazing photographers.

From making Olympians pretend to full on sprint in a two-car garage to creating a jersey for Gronk entirely out of cotton to work around some silly product legal parameters. Each one has a pretty fun story to tell.

We were tasked with developing a scale idea for scent booster beads that could drive growth for an emerging category. As a relatively new form to the laundry room, most consumers had never heard of them. But generally when people tried them they were blown away by the scents and how long it stayed on their laundry.

We wanted to showcase the addictive nature of all these awesome scents by visualizing the experience you’re left with for weeks after the wash. You'll smell so great that you literally can’t resist the freshness.

We worked with the brand and product team over at Firestone to develop a product launch kit for their Destination LE line that would drive education and ultimately more sell through with the dealer network on the launch of the LE3.

In order to create a more engaging unboxing experience we embedded an augmented reality product demo that walked the sales teams through new product features and benefits.

When Sprint merged with T-mobile, not everyone was thrilled with the idea of being forced onto a new carrier. In order to capitalize on a huge growth opportunity we targeted Sprint customers in the midst of the merger news with social and digital media tapping into their frustrations and getting them to consider switching to U.S. Cellular for an upgraded mobile experience.

The majority of tire shoppers go into retailers without a brand preference in mind, making it a crucial channel to provide a reason to consider your brand over the competition.

We invited customers to try Firestone by branding and launching our industry-leading buy & try guarantee. On point of sale we showcased the aspirational side of tires. Go get ‘em dirty. Have some fun on or off road and try ‘em yourself.
